Description

A very nice antique Stanley No. 36G Cast Iron Level with original box. Level is in Excellent to MINT condition. Box is fine but one end is torn out. These levels were machined and wet ground on the top and bottom to make them perfectly parallel. All 3 vials are perfect and fitted with Stanley’s eclipse covers to protect the glass when not in use. Designed for carpenters, millwrights, electricians, and plumbers. The groove at the bottom makes it especially good for leveling pipes and shafting. The glasses are adjustable and proved. Excellent original Japanning. It is 24″ long, which is the longest Stanley offered in the No. 36G. A true treasure!
