Description

A nice No. 2 hickory round head mallet by Stanley offered between 1863 and 1929 In Good to Good Plus condition with wear from use, including as wear to the faces, a chunk missing in the top of the head, and a couple of shallow checks. 13″ long with a 5.5″ x 3.5″ head originally but has shrunken slightly as a result of drying out over the last 100-140 years. Classic Stanley design. Weighs 1 pound, 11.4 ounces. A great collector piece for any Stanley Tools or Hand Tool collection and still useable.
