Rosewood is a protected species which I cannot ship outside of USA. Check other listings or get in touch to request your knife from any wood I can ship internationally.
This tapered hexagonal knife handle modeled after a favorite retro xacto knife feels great in the hand and works great for fine, detailed cutting. This one is made from some vintage Rosewood I have been hoarding for a while (I think it’s Brazilian Rosewood, but I’m not absolutely certain so I’m not calling it that!). Other materials available upon request. Brass and grain-matched finial shape magnetic on-board wrenches included. This hex key connects to the magnet embedded in the handle with a very satisfying SNAP!
Due to CITES restrictions I cannot ship some handle materials outside of the USA, please inquire about alternative materials.
Handle is ~5-1/2″ long x ~1/2″ hexagon. Sanded to 800 grit and finished with several coats of Carnauba paste wax. Manually machined brass blade holder holds the blade without any play, just loosen the screw and switch blades when you need a sharp one. Holds xacto #2/B handle blades or Swann-Morton Craft Blades which make great marking knives for woodworking.
These are made by me from scratch in my home studio, not from a kit.
9 blades, hex wrenches, blade guards, and storage tubes included.
