I am offering for sale this Fine Antique G. Gardner Late Holbrook Bristol, U.K. Fillester Plough Plane Ca 1845 INV#EB09

This is a fine 19th Century unhandled slide arm fillester plough plane. It is marked on toe G. Gardner Late Holbrook Bristol U.K. fillester plough plane with former owner name: D.H. Baker. On heel it has two former owner names, D. H. Baker & G. Young (see photo). The cutter is marked Hale Bros, Sheffield No 1. it is pitted, rusty and very sharp. The cutter measures: 8-3/4″ x 1/8″. It has some nicks and wear from use and age but overall in very nice condition. (see close-ups) The slide arm wedges slide move easily and tighten properly. The brass turn screw and brass trim has been polished.
